“Vishnu Sahasranama“

The Vishnu Sahasranama is authored by “Sri Veda Vyasa” and anyone can found these all Vishnu Sahasranama in the great epic “Mahabharata”. Load Vishnu is the supreme lord in all lords. There are exactly 1031 names of Lord Vishnu in the ‘Sahasranama’ but we have 1011 names of lord Vishnu. There may be some repetitions also. These mantra of glory are generally used.

As its not possible to chant these mantras daily, but it’s depends on the persons whenever to do this. Most probably the devotees do tuning daily; some other persons prefer to chant at least on their birthdays, or on eclipse days and on that day when sun moves from one zodiac to another.

To chant this would give you the great benefits. It has been given by sastras for warding of difficulty happens or arises from the position of planets, stars, incurable diseases, anger of rulers, and ruthless enemies. It provides you the meditation and purifies your mind to gain more inner bearing for meditation.


Saanthakaaram bhujangasayanam
Padmanabham suresam
Vishvaadhaaram gagana-sadrisam
Megha varnam subha angam
Lakshmee kaantam kamala nayanam
Yogibhir dhyaana gamyam
Vande vishnum bhava bhava haram
Sarva lokaika naatham”
