Navratri festivals:

Navratri is a festival of joy means it is the festivals of 9 days and also a worship of Ma Durga, Maa Lakshmi, and Maa Saraswati. It is the main festivals of Hindu. Throughout the nine days of Navratri many people keep a fast throughout this days specially woman. In evening the ladies dances in order to worship of Maa Durga.

1st - 3rd day of Navratri

On the early day of Navratras, there has been prepared by a small bed of mud in the puja room of he house and also a barely seeds are sown on it and on tenth day, the shoots are about 3-5 inches in length. Once puja was over then these seedlings are taken out and given by the devotees as a good thing from a god. These early days are dedicated to Durga Maa, the Goddess of control and energy. Maa Durga has various sign just like Kumari, Parvati, and Kali.


4th - 6th day of Navratri

Throughout these days, Lakshmi Maa, the Goddess of silence and success is worshipped. On the fifth day it is known as a Lalita Panchami, it is established to get together and display all literature offered in the house, light a lamp or ‘diya’ to appeal Saraswati Maa, which known as a Goddess of knowledge and art.

7th - 8th day of Navratri

These last days belong to Saraswati Maa who is worshipped to obtain the religious information. This revolves free us from every earthly bondage. Although on the 8th day of this colourful festival, yagna (holy fire) is achieved. Ghee (clarified butter), kheer (rice pudding) and sesame seeds form the holy offering to Goddess Durga Maa.

Mahanavami

On this day Kanya Puja is achieve. Nine young girls representing the nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped. Their feet are washed as an icon of respect for the Goddess and then are presented new clothes as a present by a worshiper. This ceremony is achieve in most parts of the country.

Nav Durga Chalisa:

Namo Namo Durge Sukh karani, Namo Namo ambe Dukh harani.

Niraakaar hai jyoti tumhari, Tihun lok phaili ujayaari.

Shashi lalaat mukh mahaavishaala, Netra laal bhrikutee vikaraala.

Roop Matu ko adhikaa suhave, Daras karat jan ati sukh pave.

Tum sansaar shakti laya kina, Paalan hetu anna dhan dina.

Annapurnaa hui jag paala, Tumhi aadi sundari Baala.

Pralaya kaal sab naashan hari, Tum
gauri Shiv-Shankar pyaari.

Shiv yogi tumhre guna gaaven, Brahma Vishnu tumhen nit dhyaaven.

Roop Saraswati ko tum dharaa, De subuddhi rishi munina ubaara.

Dharyo roop Narsimha k
o ambaa, Pragat bhayin phaad kar khamba.

Rakshaa kari Prahlaad bachayo, Hiranakashipu ko swarga patha yo.

Lakshmi roop dharo jag maahin, Shree Naaraayan anga samaahin.

Ksheer sindhu men karat vilaasa, Dayaa Sindhu, deeje man aasa.

Hingalaja men tumhin Bhavaani, Mahimaa amit na jet bakhani.

Maataangi Dhoomaavati Mata, Bhuvneshwari bagalaa sukhdaata.

Shree Bhairav lara jog taraani, Chhinna Bhala bhav dukh nivaraani.

Kehari Vahan soh Bhavani, Langur Veer Chalat agavani.

Kar men khappar khadag viraaje, Jaako dekh kaal dan bhaaje.

Sohe astra aur trishoola, Jaase uthata shatru hiya shoola.

Nagarkot men tumhi viraajat, Tihun lok men dankaa bajat.

Shumbhu Nishumbhu Danuja tum maare, Rakta-beeja shankhan samhare.

Mahishaasur nripa ati abhimaani, Jehi aghaa bhar mahi akualani.

Roop karal Kaalika dhara, Sen Sahita tum tin samhara.

Padi garha Santan par jab jab, Bhayi sahaaya Matu tum tab tab.

Amarpuni aru basaava lo
ka, Tava Mahimaa sab rahen asoka.

Jwala men hai jyoti tumhaari, Tumhen sada poojen nar nari.

Prem bhakti se Jo yash gaave, Dukh-daridra nikat nahin aave.

Dhyave tumhen jo nar man leyee, Janam-maran tako chuti jaee.

Jogi sur-muni kahat pukaari, Jog na ho bin shakti tumhaari.

Shankar Aacharaj tap keenhon, Kam, krodha jeet sab leenhon.

Nisidin dhyaan dharo Shankar ko,Kahu kal nahini sumiro tum ko.

Shakti roop ko maran naa payo,Shakti gayi tab man pachitaayo.

Sharnaagat hui keerti bakhaani,Jai jai jai Jagdamba Bhavaani.

Bhayi prasanna Aadi Jagdamba, Dayi shakti nahin keen vilambaa.

Mokon Matu kashta ati ghero,Tum bin kaun hare dukh mero.

Aasha trishna nipa
t sataaven,Moh madadik sab binsaaven.

Shatru nash keeje Maharaani,Sumiron ekachita tumhen Bhavani.

Karo kripa Hey Matu dayaala, Riddhi-Siddhi de karahu nihaala.

Jab lagi jiyoon daya phal paoon, Tumhro yash men sada sunaoon.

Durga Chalisa jo ga
ve, Sab sukh bhog parampad pave.
